The industrial robot KR 270 R2700 has a dynamic design ideal for handling heavy loads, offering a substantial load capacity of 270 kg and a maximum arm reach of 2700 mm. It's 6 axes and serves as a highly cost-effective solution for heavy-load industries. It features floor mounting and different variants tailored for harsh working environments resistant to heat, dust, and water. Driven by the KRC4 controller, this versatile robot is utilized in a wide array of applications, including arc welding, spot welding, press tending, palletizing, loading and unloading of parts, machining, handling of parts, polishing, assembly of parts, stud welding, and plasma cutting.

Features of the KR C4

The KR C4 is exceptionally simple to plan, operate, and maintain, serving as a direct continuation of service-proven, PC-based control technologies. It offers quick and easy operation thanks to the continued use of familiar operator control concepts, alongside an expanded set of commands for more user-friendly path programming. It maintains high compatibility with previous programs designed for the KR C2, while consolidating Safety, Robot, Logic, Motion, and ProcessControl into a single control system. Real-time communication between the dedicated control processes and central basic services ensures maximum data consistency.

Furthermore, the seamless integration of safety technology opens up entirely new fields of application, complemented by an integrated software firewall for greater network security and innovative software functions for optimized energy efficiency. This future-compatible technology platform relies on no proprietary hardware, instead utilizing multi-core processor support for scalable performance and fast communication via Gigabit Ethernet.

The system features integrated memory cards for important system data, is designed for 400 to 480 VAC, and incorporates a new fan concept alongside maintenance-free cooling without filter mats for optimized energy efficiency.
